Nicole provides trauma-informed individual therapy to people 16+ who are ready to address trauma, anxiety, and significant life change. Starting therapy can be daunting. Healing and growing is one thing, but sharing your story, secrets, and dreams with a stranger can be intimidating and overwhelming. Knowing this, Nicole leads with warmth, humor, and a nonjudgmental approach.
The goal will be to explore your past to better understand your present and set yourself up for your future. The way we understand and respond to our world is built upon the experiences we have had, both positive and negative. Processing and building insight of your own experiences builds clarity and self-awareness so you can recognize triggers and build resilience. Working with Nicole, you'll learn and practice tools and strategies in order to navigate life with purpose, intention, and fulfillment. She believes in approaching the whole person (mind, body, relationships) because it informs so much of how we perceive and interact with the world. Nicole also specializes in working with neurodiverse individuals using a strengths-based lens rather than a corrective approach.
Nicole has been working in the field of trauma healing her whole career. Trauma informed care is a pillar of the Resonance therapy practice.
